| First we are going slogging. I didn't even know there was such a thing! Essentially we'll be walking through the swamps in water up to our knees. Freezing water I might add and this is a pretty chilly day. Notice Olivia's pants below are wet up to her knees. Our shoes will have to be thrown away. I don't have many pictures of us actually slogging since under this knee high water is very uneven ground, lots of rocks and holes. I was very worried about falling and ruining my camera. The walking sticks weren't just for show! |
